There are many different times and seasons in people’s lives.There is those years of carefree existence.There is those years of our adult life when we have more responsibilities. Then there are those wonderful senior years.It is those senior years I would
like to take a look at.Mainly, when a person is at that stage when they are unable to take care of themselves.
It is in this time period that a family has 3 options to look at. This is going to be perspective I have gained from running my own home health care Chula Vista company.
First choice is having their adult children care for them.This would be the best option.But there are times when the kids just won’t be able to do it.Whether it is because of conflicts with a job or family issues.Well if that is how it is, there maybe 2 different choices.

Nursing homes are useful for those instances when someone does have health concerns and really can’t care for themselves anymore. This is a person who needs constant medical supervision.But if a person is not in a position like that they really don’t need a place like a nursing home.And from what I have seen, they really don’t want to. Well if they are forced into something like that, an older person might feel as if they have no more independance.They for all intents and purposes have lost some freedom. They have just lost a lot of familiar things.

Senior home care gives them that option of staying at home. While making sure all of the needs they might not be able to do themselves are still taken care of.
